zadanie 1.5.G. z "Topologii Ogólnej" Engelkinga:
(Frink 1964, Zajcew 1967) Udowodnić, że \(\displaystyle{ T_1}\) - przestrzeń \(\displaystyle{ \mathcal{X}}\) jest całkowicie regularna wtedy i tylko wtedy, gdy istnieje w niej baza \(\displaystyle{ \mathcal{B}}\) spełniająca następujące dwa warunki:
(1) Dla każdego \(\displaystyle{ x \in \mathcal{X}}\) i zawierającego \(\displaystyle{ x}\) zbioru \(\displaystyle{ U \in \mathcal{B}}\) istnieje \(\displaystyle{ V \in \mathcal{B}}\) takie, że \(\displaystyle{ x \not \in V}\) oraz \(\displaystyle{ U \cup V =\mathcal{X}}\)
(2) Dla wszelkich \(\displaystyle{ U,V \in \mathcal{B}}\) takich, że \(\displaystyle{ U \cup V = \mathcal{X}}\) istnieją zbiory \(\displaystyle{ U',V' \in \mathcal{B}}\) takie że \(\displaystyle{ \mathcal{X} \setminus V \subset U'}\), \(\displaystyle{ \mathcal{X} \setminus U \subset V'}\) oraz \(\displaystyle{ U' \cap V' = \emptyset}\)
